I've recently finished my 18mm AB Napoleonic French army and have begun posting up some pictures on my blog.

These are all based for Napoleon at War, but are being used almost entirely for playtesting a new Divisional level ruleset in development by the toofatlardies.

Lots more info and pictures on the blog, littletinmen.blogspot.com.au/2015/08/en-avant-mes-braves-french-light.html

Now, back to painting up some of Matt's Elheim SASR for Afghanistan.

Wow! Those are spectacular. Very well done.

I've got a Hussards de Lauzun unit from Old Glory (with Camapign Games horses to make them look bigger) in the painting queue. If I can get them half as nice as yours I'll be happy.

Very nice, in so many ways! The painting and basing look great, plus I really like the dark blue color on the general's and the ADC's uniforms. Is the blue a color that can be bought, or did you mix it yourself? (I've mixed my own ACW Union blue in the past.)

These are as detailed as any 28mm I have. I am quite impressed. Your eyes must still be very very good. I haven't painted anything that small in 20 years. Love your work.

Thanks guys, glad you like them.
Jeigheff, the blue is one i mixed myself, but the recipe comes from Paul of link

It's Vallejo Intense Blue mixed with black, then subtly lightened by adding a dark flesh colour.

Thanks for your answer, ansbachdragoner. I know that it isn't realistic to expect paint manufacturers to cover every color possibility, because they simply can't. Still, it's a fun challenge to find or mix just the right color. Your French indigo blue color looks great. (Furthermore, I'll make note of the mix you used.)

Look great. What did you use for the flowers? An interesting feature.
