Recently put these together- there was no painting involved, though i will certainly have to paint up more! The mini's were simply rebased as I already had quite a few singular casualty markers bases on the ordinary 50mm diameter round bases available from Warbases. You can see many more pics and read about it all on my La Journee Blog here: link Sample pics:

Great markers! I have those same Warbases markers, but mine are only flocked (so I can use them for a variety of games). |

Nicely done Darrell. Like Waaslandwarrior I have flocked my Warbases counters. Problem is they can get in the way, thinking about some way of incorporating casualty markers in my movement trays. |

Very nice. Will have to look into those casualty dials. |

Thanks for the comments guys :>) I have those same Warbases markers, but mine are only flocked (so I can use them for a variety of games). Yeah, a number of the guys at the club just use flocked markers and I can certainly see the merits in having markers that can be used for several different games/periods. It's just that well, I'm a sucker for punishment! LOL :>) I just prefer them to add to the drama of my vignette style of basing the units. Like Waaslandwarrior I have flocked my Warbases counters. Problem is they can get in the way, thinking about some way of incorporating casualty markers in my movement trays. Get in the way? You mean physically? You could just incorporate a little section fora mini dice at the back of the unit maybe? They're quite unobtrusive. Darrell.
