Folks – is this still a valid list of who makes 28mm Vietnam? TMP link

(TAG, FoA, Baker Co, Eureka, Chiltern &
Parkfield?)

Is the Force of Arms range still available anywhere? (My googlefu is restricted by my employer's firewall)

Is there a leading range (in terms of quality and scope)?

(Disclosure: I'm trying to work out whether or not there's a need for a new entrant in that market, which seems fragmented/unfinished..?)

Westwind do a Vietnam line: link

There's also the Red Star French line: link

Do you have your heart set on doing Vietnam in 28 mms? The options available in 20 mm are rather extensive including vehicles in 1/72 and 1/76 scale.

I think BattleHonors still has a very nice line from along time ago.

I have a ton of Westwind mixed with Assault Group (and some Battle Honors casualties) – here are pictures on my blog:

If it is a new line, I would skip BattleHonors, Eureka, and Jungle Rot (too small) and Chiltern(way too big). I've never seen Parkfield in the flesh(lead).

Match up with Baker Company, Force of Arms, West Wind, and TAG.

Now if you want my dollars make NVA with separate heads. Head options could be a Mao hat, Soviet style helmet, and floppy hat.

A second option would be figures for the wars in South/Central America – 1970 thru the fall of communism.

Kallman, I'm not desperately set on Vietnam itself but I'd prefer to stick to 28mm to complement the other ranges I'll be doing (first main range will be Arab-Israeli TMP link )

I was wondering whether there was a need for a more comprehensive Vietnam range as I hadn't seen too much in the way of ARVN, early period and so on. Not sure whether that's a lack of awareness on my part, or investment from manufacturers, or lack of demand from customers…? I don't really want to double up too much on what others are doing.

(Basically I'd like a couple of mainstream ranges to help bankroll more esoteric ranges such as 1974 Cyprus invasion / India-Pakistan)

'70s S America could be an option, but I know the square root of naff all about it sadly.

LostPict – great terrain mate.

Delta Bravo – some ARVN would be great. Plus some Brown Water Sailors and SEALs. And if you really want to rock the world a 1/56 PACV.
