My Pulp Nazis are negotiating with the Radon Zombies to get Flying Saucer technology that will win the war. As a result, I needed a Flying Saucer.

There are a few commercial kits, but they are expensive and hard-to-find locally. So I made one.

I hope you like it.

Neat. And an inspiration for those who wander Dollar stores. Lots of good stuff there.

Huh--I just went to the Dollar store for plastic wine glasses so I could make flight bases for my Mi-Go:

I threw away the cup part, glue-gunned the wineglass base to a short plastic tube with a nail head on the top, and since all my bases are magnetic--done! I could have been a little more careful about making them straight though.

Ed Wood would be so proud of you for your dazzling special effects flying saucer (and no doubt envy you your exorbitant props budget)! evil grin

How do you determine if a plate is made of bakalite? Does it say it on the bottom?
