I took the opportunity to take some snaps of some of the HYW English that I've been painting and rebasing on Thursday gone at the club with a bit of scenery in the background. Some of them had already been painted up- others (two bases) painted fairly recently. With my ongoing obsession about Late Medieval warfare this will almost certainly be an ongoing project for the rest of my life!

You can see many (and I mean a lot!) more pics on my La journee Blog here:

Anyway, here are some of the results:

There are another 17 good pics on my blog :) ;)

Very nice indeed, even if they are hiding behind pointy sticks!

Works if they are fighting vampires.

I like the knights trying to make it through the stakes!
Great job!

Inspiring stuff

Thanks chaps :--]

Here are some close ups that (I hope!) will elucidate how the individual bases act as mini vignettes telling their own story and by adding more bases of how the overall story is depicted:

Cheers,
Darrell.

Excellent figurs and brilliant scenic bases there.

Thanks

Thanks Craig. There will be another two bases posted up shortly, without the terrain and scenery as I'm not at the club again until Thursday (I'll try and get there a little earlier so I can sneak in a pic or two of the larger unit :>)
