Couple of extra points regarding HMS Indefatigable;

1: As a unit in an independent frigate squadron (Sir John Warren Borlaise, Sir Edward Pellew) she flew a red ensign not white.

2: Sir Edward Pellew insisted that she retained her original 64 size rig sail suite instead of being downgraded to the frigate sized sails, this gave her her high speed and ability to carry a greater press of canvas than other vessels of that size though she did drift to leeward more markedly in light airs.

3: Masts were of Fir so somewhat lighter in colour than you've depicted but the ship is very nice and overall an excellent job.

Well done. Like seeing underway in that sea.

Thank you for the extra points. Red flagship is possible to change but othes points…. Is more difficult to change :-)
Thanks for comment!

I never understood that name
Fatigable- Able to become Fatigued
De- Fatigable- Able to recover from being Fatigued
In-De-Fatigable- NOT able to recover from being Fatigued

That couldn't be what they meant, could it ?

I think your analysis is wrong…

BTW, very nicely done.

Thanks for the link, although even the definition looks like a double negative before fatigable.

Great piece.

Another Masterpiece, while I can't approach your quality I am going to steal your idea of using 1/800th scale crew to populate some of my fleet!

Also was Hornblower's ship early on, so it's always had a soft spot in my heart. Fantastic work, especially the rigging.

BTW one of the A&E Hornblower DVD disks is sitting in my blu-ray player as I type. (Was going to watch last night but got too tired.) I highly recommend the series!

Thank you everyone!

I will try to get this series
