I am looking for a cheap source for WW2 15mm Italian infantry figs. I figure they do not last on the table for long so do not wish to pay Battle Front prices for the infantry. Any one here know of a cheap source for the infantry figs? Thank you in advance.

Even if you don't have an Old Glory Army card and have to pay full retail, you are not going to beat the price of the CD range.

I haven't seen their Italians but I have a lot of their Germans and Americans and they're pretty nice. Not as good as the best FoW sculpts, miles ahead of the bad FoW sculpts.

You could try Peter Pig, though I don't know if they are actually less expensive.

I think the Italian range is very nice; I used to own about 300 of them.

Just buy the bloody figures like the rest of us do. If you don't think Italians are that good then buy a different army!

BobGrognard, take a deep breath, count to ten then say Bleeped text it and walk away life is too short dude. ;-)

green beanie, well commanded Italian infantry were among the best in the world, read the history not the propaganda, so if yours don't last long on the table…….

Fatman (Who's Italians deserve better.)

Oh and I use Peter Pig a really nice range.

Old Glory Command Decidion. I like their figures a lot better than Battlefront.

As for fighting ability, in Flames if War, they are the army I least like to face. Such big platoons, and all that attached weaponry the Quartermaster Fairy Godmother throws at them. And dug in and gone to ground too. Biggest pains in the butt around.

Probably Command Decision. You can mix in a few packs of Peter Pig if you need something specific and don't want a bag of 50 of them.
