I have had a quick look on the web and a couple of shops crop up in Lincoln UK. The battle bunker? is it still open or is it just trading as a on line shop. I also found titan games/Daves gaming & tabletop gaming ltd. Any help or advice will be more than welcome we plan to head over tomorrow so I know its short notice but if anyone knows of any others please feel free to let me know.
thanks again Russ

The Battle Bunker has shut it's doors now. Titan Games is a bit of a trek down the High Street from the centre of Lincoln.

Thanks King Monkey, is Titan games worth the walk?

I've not been in, only looked through the window. I think it's all fantasy/sci-fi type stuff no historicals.

There's also B & H Models on Corporation Street

bandhmodels.com

Railway stuff on the ground floor, models downstairs.

Thanks again for that, its very much appreciated

Titan is just fantasy stuff, but has some paints. B+H models has lots of plastic kits downstairs and 1/76 plastic figures. Boyes near the old market has a good selection of Valejo and GW paints and some kits. No wargaming figures in Lincoln, pity when you think it's next door to Nottingham that has more than you can shake a stick at.

Thanks foxweasel, I will have a good look round while we are there, you never know I might just find a thing or two to bring home with me.

Sets of brushes downstairs in The Works bookshop on the corner of High St & Silver St. Semi-disposable at those prices.

Musgrave Tools just East of the High St down Salter Gate; old fashioned ironmongers with every hand tool imaginable.

Did you have a fun day out in Lincoln then?

King Monkey, yes I did. I got called sir, Ate posh cake and drank posh tea! The walk down to Titan games was almost a marathon effort, it wasn't quite what I expected you where right. Although I did pick a few bits up from Games Workshop! Yes I even surprised myself with that one! No AoS stuff I'm really not keen, but once in a while I enjoy painting something a bit different. The staff in GW where real friendly and helpful you can't fault them on that score.
So thanks guys I appreciate all the info.TMPers have helped out as always.
Cheers Russ
