Not as the other "Fury"… but still interesting for Blue Ray or similar.

Where to start with this one…or just not start.

Because the Germans had whole battalions of T-34s on the WESTERN front in 1944.

Because the Battle of the Bulge was in the fall, not the winter, of 1944.

Because tanks always charge essentially hub to hub.

Because black infantrymen were integrated into rifle squads in the ETO early on.

I'm sure there's more. Much more.

Hey, at least the rifles the US guys were using were reasonable (M1 Garand, M1 Carbine).

Saw some of this on Netflix. Seriously, don't waste your time. A T-34 on the cover of a movie with "Ardennes" in the title should tell you all you need to know.

Mako1106 Aug 2015 12:10 p.m. PST

A yes, T-34/85s were literally everywhere……

And the B-17 flying close air support?

But at first impression, I thought the T-34/85 was being crewed by an American.

Just goes to show that "Hollywood" of any nationality never lets the truth get in the way of a good (or not so good, in this case) story.

Off to stifle an editor.

It is good that someone put a swastika on the back of that German soldier's helmet. Without it, nobody would be able to identify what side he was on.

Tango0106 Aug 2015 1:02 p.m. PST

I KNOW that this would be THAT funny!. (big smile).

To be fair, they have been doing that with "German" tnaks for a long time. Battle of the Bulge anyone?

"Based on True Events"*

* None of which had to do with the Ardennes or the Battle of the Bulge or a tank named Fury

They really forgot the winter part. Like, not even pretending.

jdginaz06 Aug 2015 3:24 p.m. PST

Actually around the time of the Ardennes offensive Blacks were being integrated into a few a few infantry companies to alleviate manpower shortages.

Is no one going to mention the early mark Spitfires?

Sudwind06 Aug 2015 6:00 p.m. PST

Well…if the movie were good, I would not mind the T-34's. I would prefer a better effort at making it look like a German tank, as in Band of Brothers, or Kelly's Heroes, but that is not as important as a good script and good acting and plot,

vdal181206 Aug 2015 8:30 p.m. PST

I think the soldier in the tank is American. He's wearing that helmet with the netting that all tankers in T-34's used.
