I am sure we all misplace rule books from time to time. But my DBA 2.1 book is the worst. I find it, I have it for a few days, and then it disappears for a month. Sometimes two. Lather, rinse, repeat. I am currently looking for it again… |

My copy of War Rocket disappeared without trace for nearly a year. I ended up buying a new copy – old one turned up the next day! |

I fell your pain, since I've done that as well. Really need to put them back in the same place when done – Bulldogs Away and Action Stations. I find myself referring to them from time to time, while dreaming up future scenarios. |

I used to misplace my copy of 2.2 all the time. Much harder to misplace version 3.0 since it is A4, purple and hardcover. |

I keep all mine in file folders so I don't really have this problem. Of course, I own over 500 rule books at this point so organization is a necessity. |

At least you have magical "books of returning." I lost my 1st ed AD&D books and NEVER found them again. |

For me it's not rules it's books. All my old rules are in a file cabinet in folders. I keep them just for antiquarian value. But I've loaned wargame and history books to people and never gotten them back. Usually it's OH I forgot I'll bring it back next week. The ones that really me off are the ones who say 'Oh I don't know where it is, complete denial, or who boldly say they gave it away or sold it. I learned my lesson. I never do that any more. |

My DBMM Army lists Book-1 from time to time leaves this world to visit other dimensions, and returns a day after I need it. David F Brown |

Used to be my DBA 2.0 or 2.2, but with the split in the DBA community and my dislike of 3.0…I don't find myself looking for the DBA rules much these days. Now, I guess it would be any material related to Command Decision or various modern naval rules. |

Ah! Lost my OWN fantasy rules, including my old PC sheets. Gone, where everything was stored, they are simply gone. Along with my maps that I colored…. |
