This is my next batch of eastern front rural houses. After the previous log wall set I decided to try the whitewash type. All are made from 5mm foamboard and mounted on 25mm x 17mm base of MDF. Ade,Yes the roofs do come off and the interior is designed to hold two 50mm x 32mm bases. Extra Crispy, I learned to make the roofs from the following link: TMP link look for Stone of Bethels post, I found this the best for me. Thanks Gary

I really like the looks of your buildings. Thanks for sharing the pics of them. Hmmm, that link has disappeared, sadly – strange for a TMP link to another TMP post to disappear. Are the roofs made of clay, or some other material that can be easily sculpted and textured? I need to make some as well.

To make thatch roofs have a look at ryan.skow.org, his thatch tutorial is the best I've seen so far. To make the hipped roof, Google search rm.web.co.uk scratch build hipped roof. Sorry I can't provide a direct link, thanks for the comments Gary
