It's been about 18 months since our last publication, but here at last is the latest volume in the chronicles of A Very British Civil War. The first book we did in the A5 format was a limited-run flag book, where I rather struggled in doing the artwork! Since then, the very talented Mr. Barfield has joined the team and produced all the fantastic art that has helped bring the project alive. A while ago, we revisited the subject of flags and produced a volume illustrating the Royalists and Reactionaries. This second volume covers the Anti-Government forces. 40 pages and over 120 color illustrations illustrate the flags of forces of the Anglican League, Socialists, Albertines, Scots, Welsh, Cornish, Somerset Freedom fighters, Joshua Force and the Liverpool Free State. The appendix covers a few Reactionary loose ends, including The Order of Martyrs, South Wales Authority, and Cornish Loyalists. For both fans of the project and those starting off looking for ideas for units, this booklet is a very useful guide.
