Is there any interest in 28mm North and South Korean forces? I am considering starting a miniatures line and I have been informed that Koreans would be a big gap that people want filled on another forum. I figured I would ask TMP as well. The forces would be current up to today, but the North Koreans haven't changed in over 15 years, so they could even work for a Cold War gone hot scenario and the South Koreans could be used for pretty much since the K2 was put into production. The plan is to have swappable heads as well, which could expand the usefulness of the North Koreans especially.

Alternatively, I am also considering doing western insurgents and generic military wearing chicom rigs and BDUs while carrying AKMs. They will also have several head options such as PASGT, Ssh-68, M1, and bare heads with the eventual plan for boonie hats and berets. Each set of heads will further be divided by nationality with Asian, European, African, and Middle Eastern.

Let me know what you guys think. I am open to all manner of crazy suggestions as well.

I think either option would sell especially with the head options. I save pics off the Internet of modern forces and the majority are in Western uniform while armed with AK variants. Not much is out there in 28mm.

I would love these especially the western and generic insurgents. I've always wanted to get into modern 28mm but the high off shore shipping costs and poor exchange rate keep the 28mm stuff out of my reach. 28mm moderns from here in the USA would be terrific.

That would be great to see a range covering 20th century+ for Korea!

Please go forward. The head swap option is a must. Mao caps please.

Go for it! I'm in for the Koreans

All of that sounds awesome. I only use 28's so I'm all for it.

I'd like to see Western armed insurgents with M-16's.
