I am thinking about re-starting my long delayed 10mm Napoleonics project. I am thinking of using Pendraken and Magister Militum for this project, but being in the USA, I am unfamiliar with either. While I like Old Glory's 10mm figures, they ate in strips, and for this project, for maximum flexibility I am thinking of using Napoleon's Battles 2x2 basing, but on smaller bases. My questions to TMP are… 1. How do these two lines compare? Either manufacturer standout--detail, quality, service, easier to paint etc? 2. Can I use figures from each manufacturer on the same table? How about in the same unit? 3. How about service to U.S.A? Fast? Friendly? Anyone encounter any problems? |

I've ordered both from the U.S. With no problems. I think MM are a little larger but I use both in the same armies with no problem. I think the details are very nice from both. I don't think you can go wrong with either or both of these manufacturers. I have a special place for pendraken because they went above and beyond when they replaced some new figures I lost in a house fire back in 2011. Dale |

I have had no problems with either outfit sending stuff across the pond but Pendraken's customer service is amazing. |

Figures are comparable but Pendrakens customer service is absolutely top class. They will bend over backwards to get you exactly what you are after. |

I have had the same good customer service experience with Magister Millitum. By the way, some of the Old Glory figures are not on strips. Those listed as "skirmishing" are individual figures. |

Indeed, why not both. They mix well together and both have some very cool stuff. One of them even has personality sets. I think it's Magister Militum. |

And if there is anything I can help with, got a few customers for my 10mm in the States, always happy for more. link Mine are more compatable with MM than pendraken |

As already stated pendrakens customer service is second to none. What I find is that MM are larger figures in a portly sense, but they can mix in an army but not in a unit. jon |

Thanks for all the positive comments, good to see everyone's happy with the service! Just to answer question 3, it normally takes us around 10 days to get the figures cast up, and then another 5-7 for the package to travel across to the States. On very rare occasions they can be delayed at US Customs, but that really doesn't happen very often. If there's anything else I can help with, just give me a shout. |

MM are also quite expensive by comparison. |

There are several comparisons on my 1809 Blog: link link link link There's also one MM sharing a base with Pendraken in a pic on my store site: link Cheers, Michael |

Hi Kieven I sent you the link by email (15 July). I'll be ordering a bunch of your figures as soon as the French Hussar command is released! I've seen one pic of your inf next to Pendraken and they looked very compatible. Cheers, Michael |

Sorry Michael must have missed it, or it went to junkmail. Have now added it to my favourites so I wont lose it. He is doing the hussar command at this moment, and Austrian gun crew, hopefully back with me in a couple of weeks, All my artillery and limbers etc come from a different designer, that's why they have popped up without any figures. |
