Asked myself same question. Probably do them on computer and shrink to scale. But they 'd really be so small. If approx in scale. |

I copied images fram a numer of sites. Resized them and printed. When I tried to glue them to various items (bases, ships, printer paper, etc. They looked fine but faded out when I attached them. Maybe if you printed them on labels????? |

How big is a naval flag in 1:2400 scale? |

A 10' flag would be .05" or 1/20th of an inch. |

I have made naval flags for 1200 scale ships. I don't think I would even consider attempting it at 2400. |

@Allen57 Could you share some of those sites? I've been looking for images of Ensigns that I could print out and attach to the bases of my 1:2400 WW2 ships but I haven't had any luck. My Google-foo is lacking in that department. I don't mean to attach them to the ships themselves, but rather the bases so that they are easily identified by nationality. |

I use national flags because most gamers recognize those more easily… |

Making is not the problem. It's attaching to the ship on the pole or on a hoist. I did it, but that was for 1:1200 ships. |

This guy's work is amazing. Section 18 in his tutorial covers flags. In 1:2400. That really deserved an exclamation mark, but, being English, I'm a bit too reserved. link |
