I am trying to determine what was the helmet color of French colonial infantry located in France during the Battle of France?

I know that in World War 1, the colonial infantry had a sand colored helmet while the the metropolitan infantry helmets were a much darker color. Was this practice continued in World War 2?

On a related note, I assume both the colonials and metropolitans had the same khaki green uniform when in European service. Is this correct?

They say sometimes repainted to go along the uniform colour.
I think they are just the same with branch device in metro. service.
Likely sandy repainted if in use overseas, for ex. Along Tunisian border.

I have one that I think is colonial in my collection. It is the green color in the above links, with no unit badge on the front.
