I've just returned from Gen Con where some friends and I purchased the game Wrath of Kings…the minis are sharp looking and the demo made the game seem fairly strait forward. Has anyone played this game?

I have two factions from the Kickstarter (Hadross & Teknes), and have picked up some more since. I have started painting on them, but keep getting sidetracked with other projects. I I have read the rules, but have yet to play.

Played two games as House Hadross versus House Shael Han. Won one lost one .
Same as other games with a igo ugo system and beautiful miniatures which are easy to assemble despite them looking tricky.
The thing I really like about it is the reaction abilities and how leaders really help their units and not just walk about being damage monsters. The big guys WILL get taken down if isolated and weaker units use abilities well.

You will probable like the unit cards too with the one look combat roll result being pretty cool . It can sometimes be frustrating depending on who you attack if you don't do your homework properly.
Will play again but my only opponent is stationed overseas at the mo.

I've been playing and painting since March:

It's quick and fun. Low in the "gotcha" department, most games seem to last 4-8 rounds.
