"The book has received approval from Khamenei's office and is thus the most authoritative document regarding his position on the issue. Khamenei makes his position clear from the start: Israel has no right to exist as a state He claims his strategy for the destruction of Israel is not based on anti-Semitism, which he describes as a European phenomenon. His position is based on "well-established Islamic principles." According to Khamenei, Israel, which he labels an "enemy" and "foe," is a special case for three reasons. The first is that it is a loyal "ally of the American Great Satan" and a key element in its "evil scheme" to dominate "the heartland of the Ummah."…" Full review here link Amicalement Armand |

So a slow "war" to induce "Israelis of foreign ancestry" to leave Israel… |

This is not new material. Khamenei has made this speech before. If he believes what he writes, he shows surprising ignorance and a serious disconnect from reality. The majority of Jewish Israelis are not immigrants from Europe or America and do not have dual citizenship. Most European Jews were killed in the Holocaust, an event Khamenei professes to doubt happened. Only a remnant escaped to Israel. Few American Jews have gone to Israel. The majority of Jewish Israelis are Mizrachim, the descendents of refugees from Muslim countries. They were driven from their homes in Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Yemen, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran and Turkey. The Mizrachim have nowhere else to go. They will make their stand in Israel. |

Yes?. Good and interesting info my friend. I always have the idea that the majority of the israelis were from Russia and other European Countries. Amicalement Armand |

The Zionist founders were Europeans. They went to prepare a place for their extended families and kin who, mostly, never arrived. About half a million Ashkenazi survivors came to Israel, mostly after they were released from DP camps in 1948. About 3/4 million Mizrachim arrived in the early years after independence, driven from their homes by government action and mob violence. The Ashkenazim dominated Israel politically and culturally until the late '70s, at which point the Mizrachim, who were more numerous to begin with and had a much higher birthrate, came to political power. Today most Jewish Israelis are of Mizrachi descent, and they dominate politics through religious parties like Shas, and nationalist parties like Likud. The Mizrachim turned decisively away from the left-wing Labor Zionist politics of the Ashkenazi Zionists, toward a religious-nationalist politics. In the past decade a large number of immigrants have arrived from Russia and Ukraine. Many of them are dual citizens, but they left for a reason, and they have less to 'go home' to every day. The main 'Russian' political party in Israel is named Yisrael Beiteinu – 'Israel is our home'. The Russians' numbers have been partly balanced by an influx of Ethiopian and other non-European Jews. |

Yeah … well … when you use terms like "The Great Satan", etc. … you lose a lot of credibility with most people. At least those who are not islamists. Again, many of them are still stuck/wedded/bonded to the 15th Century or before. His position is based on "well-established Islamic principles." Well a lot of people had/have well established principles … like the NAZIs, Deash, etc. … certainly does not make them correct … In most points of view, beliefs, etc. … |

There are also some South American there… (smile) Indeed. In the early 20th century a substantial population of Polish Jews immigrated to Argentina. They were a target for two major bombings by Hezbollah in the 1990s. Since then their numbers have grown smaller. Some have assimilated, others have emigrated again, some to Israel. Here is a Yiddish song from Argentina's Jewish immigrants. A young woman sings about being trafficked into prostitution in Buenos Aires: YouTube link "Isn't it grand to live in a brothel and date rich gentlemen?" "I'd rather live with my Mamma, and go walking with ordinary boys."
"Isn't it grand to live in a brothel, with servants to wait on you?" "I'd rather live with my Mamma, and do the laundry myself." |

The mixed ideologies and conflicting interests all date "back" to a starting point that "we" choose to justify our policy and agenda. Islam doesn't even form a monolithic "starting point" within itself, thus the infighting that has been going on and flaring up and dying down and flaring up again and again for centuries. The rest of us can safely enough ignore them, if we but will. They can and will work out a permanent solution to their inter-religious differences. Collateral damage to the rest of us will occur. We can take it in stride and not overreact. Or we can get all bothered and listen to our own special interests (spelled economic interests) and go to war to our own hurt. Israel is here to stay. Only a world war would remove it. Muslim radicals ID or "out" themselves and cannot help themselves. We watch. We remove "surgically", and when we do it right the removal is welcomed by everyone except the radical fringe. If we do it right the removal is justified as self defense. Anything more than this is evil…. |

Many Thanks my friend!. Well… we have the most big jude community in America after USA… (smile) They are very important here…but they suffered persecution too… not today… but in the near past. At the Falkland/Malvinas conflict… all the jude soldiers of my unit were left in the Continent or the few who travel to the islands… were used only for Maintenance work such as cleaning or waiters for the officers' mess … always in the rear … the treatment they received was brutal. (derogatory). I feel great shame for that and have problems because I protest… Amicalement Armand |
