I just wanted to acknowledge the fantastic services received from Grand Manner terrains and Perry Miniatures. Grand Manner. Order placed Monday 7/20 – shipment received Monday 7/27. All 20 Medieval buildings bubble wrapped 3 times and no mistakes in the order -- plus a free bonus building. Excellent service as usual. Perry Miniatures. 1st order placed Tuesday 7/21 – shipment received Monday 27. All 67 black boxes accounted for and no mistakes. 2nd order placed Wednesday 7/22 – shipment received Thursday 7/30. All 36 black boxes accounted for and no mistakes. I really appreciate that Perry Miniatures label their boxes so inventory is hassle free. Both company also sent out emails to update the status of my order as they were being processed. Shipments are from UK to Illinois(USA). |

Sir Mumsy, agree, these firms are tops in service and product. It is nice to read a post acknowledging their efforts. You have a lot of fun ahead of you with all of that loot. |

The service one gets from Perry is why I order direct. I have not ordered from Grand Manor yes. |

Don't know where you are Sir M, but Grand Manner's service from the UK to Colorado has always been great! Grelber |

Condotta, my AWI project is actually for 2017 and I am currently working on Wars of the Roses with SAGA every now and then as needed for my gaming group. But yes, lots of fun for a while! 45thdiv, Perry direct service is definitely worth it! I dare you to goggle Grand Manner terrain and take a little peak at what they offer. Oh be adventurous! By the way, I am neither affiliated with Perry Miniatures nor Grand Manner in any way -- just a happy customer. |

Sevastopol, I tend to wait for a sale to make my purchase. After too many breakages to my mdf buildings, I decided to switch over to resin. I prefer resin buildings for their durability as I have to transport them quite a lot. Grand Manner buildings are exquisitely detailed and beautifully designed. Yes, they are on the costly side, but not unreasonable for resin buildings and competitive with other resin manufacturers. I've really enjoyed painting the buildings and I don't mind budgeting for them well in advance. |

@Sir Mumsy: they do look fantastic. I prefer resin myself as it does feel much stronger than MDF of some plastics. |

I too have had great service from Grand Manner and Perry with multiple orders over the last several years and all the products made their way to Virginia in good time and in good shape. Other companies I've had great experiences with shipping from the UK are SandS, Elhiem, TimeCast, Leven, H&R, Total Battle, and Baccus. All of these enterprises communicate well, are very responsive, and are a pleasure to do business with. |

@Sevastopol: Pete, I agree with you about the durability of resin and although heavier for me to carry, I much prefer resin over MDF. @Bezmozgu7: Oh no! Of course, I now have to look up the companies you've listed, but I'm keeping my purse tightly closed as my hobby budget is decreasing at an alarming rate and it's only August. Good to hear Grand Manner and Perry treat Virginians well also. |
