Hi, looking for rules that will allow me to game raids. I am looking at trying early war German Paratroop landings to Commando raids by the British. Jon |

So for raids, I imagine you'll want something that's focused on characters, has rules for night fighting, stealth, demolitions and all that? link If you're looking at about a squad each, I got you covered :) I should add, if you're looking for more like a platoon and up, you'll want to look elsewhere. Nuts might be a pretty good option. |

Why not try Donald Featherstone's Wargaming Commando Operations link |

NUTS is a man to man game for squads and a platoon once you catch on to the rules. |

I'll add that Nuts is one of the only games I've ever played where a battle can escalate beyond expectation. You start with a half squad blundering into an enemy squad and before you know it, you're in a platoon level battle with tanks and chaos everywhere. Start pushing them back and they get an MG42 on the flank. Panic! It's awesome :) |
