Heading to Toronto and wondering if there are any good shops there – I will be staying in the downtown area if that helps! Also any restaurant tips would be nice too – looking particularly for Greek, Lebanese, Turkish (I guess Mediterranean in general) but also interested in South Asian (Indian, Pakistani, Sri Lankan), Caribbean, or Korean. Thank you!

Meeplemart is a large game related store which stocks a wide variety of minis. 247 Spadina Ave which is the downtown area.

Do visit Fort York, which is one of the best preserved War of 1812 forts.

Fort York is walkable from downtown and an interesting study in how topography changes over time. It used to be on the waterfront and is now three or four blocks from the shore.

Here some snaps of Fort York from 2012.

Penelope Restaurant is a good Greek place, in the theatre district (downtown too), 225 King St. Sushi Queen on Queen Street is my favourite sushi place, should have Korean on the menu too, but I think further west on Queen is another good Korean place but I can't remember its name, my date that night picked the place. Chinatown is around Spadina, you may be able to find more Korean places there, and if you get into the Kensington Market, you'll find a diversity of things there.

There's also the Sentry – link – for minis.

Can recommend MeepleMart, recent visit was very fruitful and the yound lady behind the counter was most helpful.

The Sentry was at Hold the Line in June, so I presume they're open. Crossed Swords closed its storefront but still attends local cons. I'd suggest the OP contact the Sentry though.

Great Lebanese food at Paramount in Thornhill Authentic and inexpensive. Very clean restaurant and nice ambiance. There is another location on Yonge street downtown TO, but I have not eaten there.

Nope. Closed either last year or the year before IIRC
