I have a bunch of the old RAFM (1/87 – HO / 20mm) Heavy Gear minis – I was never a fan of the Heavy Gear rules, any of the versions – looking for a quick play/ not fiddly SF rule set to use to put them on the table – something combined arms oriented where infantry & vehicles are useful as well – what do ya'll recommend? |

Gruntz will work just fine if you ask me |

There's nothing wrong with the older versions of Heavy Gear (which I think are still available in PDF format from DrivethruRPG). I happen to like Tomorrow's War, from Ambush Alley Games. Another, older alternative would be Stargrunt II, but walkers don't really work well in SG2. And I'd be happy to make you an offer on any Southern Gears you might be willing to part with. |

I loved the old HG, before they redid it. Sadly, I needed space and sold my entire book collection on ebay for $50 USD… /whine Anyway, yea, for combined arms you can use Gruntz, or PMC2640, which I prefer. |
