I am planning to release 2 full armies and a fair few packs of mercenaries around Christmans. Very likely in a crowdfunding campaign.

Are the half men one of those armies. I have been wanting some of these for quite a while.

Wow, fantastic sculpts – incredible detail and great poses! Will keep an eye out!

The swords and sabres have an acute "enlarged weapon" syndrome. Otherwise, these look fine. Keep us informed, I may be in for the Halfmen.

Kawe, you continue to amaze! Intriguing, beguiling, irrepressible…these sculpts are wonderful fun and will be a delight to paint and game with. Weihnachtsmann /Father Christmas will be very busy this year.

The female has a nice face and body shape is not to ridiculous but her breasts are shoved up nearly to her chin. Please look at actual woman before sculpting you might find them quite beautiful in their realistic and natural states without cartoonish exaggeration;D you could kill the silly high heels too

I think she is nice. Surely it is the bustier that is lifting and separating? Is that not the point of a bustier?

I love the halflings, especially the half-men-at-arms. The faces on the peasants are great.

Thanks all!

Re enlarged weapons – I think it's rather modest in comparison. Also I actually like the oversized extemeties and details most 28mm ranges have.

Re chin bust – She's really pushing her chest forward a little which pronounces her rather small chest. I have the mini in my hands – it does look alright to me.

On second views, the halfing weapons are within the normal standards for their style. The sabre of the female is imho off, though. And while I like that sculpt, I would certainly shave off the skull buttons from vest and boot. For some reason I am sooo tired of skulls …

Remember to tell us here when they become available.

Fantastic sculpts. Can't wait for the halflings in particular.

Could adjust/"tone down" the bustier affect but it is not too "non-standard" for Fantasy/Pirates. Her word looks more two-handed sword in appearance (room for two hands on the hilt/long blade/no shield) so I could justify it as a fantasy milieu Two-Handed Saber.

The swords in the first picture definitely don't seem likely to fit in the scabbards. Otherwise the halfmen look adorably deadly – die laughing material. I could see them in a "doesn't take itself too seriously" fantasy campaign setting easily. Good work on those.

Steppe Goblins are not too far (for me) cartoony so consider that a ringing endorsement from me.

Unfortunately this is not a size I am buying now days. I am sure there is a market for these figures and wish you well in your efforts.

@Puster/MB – I agree about the saber – it's off and it will be modified.

Re Scabbards: it's this 28mm heroic thing – Heads, hands and weapons are a little oversized while the rest of the mini is somewhat realistic. It's the style that I was chosing for these and I am happy with how they turned out.

Excellent figures.

I want them all!!!!

Der Krieg Geist18 Aug 2015 6:23 p.m. PST

As fantasy halflings and pirates go, they are very nice. I have no use for either but if I used either type, I would definately want these .:)

Thanks guys! Lots of new stuff is on the work bench and i am sure we gonna hit the December date for a rather massive KS with lots of neat options.

We're both very busy at the day-jobs atm so no time to prepare really fancy images, but the Crossbows are coming along. That and we were starting to paint some troops for our ever growing armies!

We had some issues with the master miniatures but we receive a nice batch of them during the coming week and will send out samples as promised.

We also got around to start some big baddies to give some hard hitting power to the halflings. So far it's an undressed dolly/sclupting armature. Still worth having a look at I suppose :--)
