I am always in favor of MOAR BOARDS!!!1!!! but in this case I don't really think there is enough VSF media out there to go on this suggested board. |

You are forgetting all the "steampunk" books on the market. It's a genre I rather like, before anyone says anything. That said, I probably wouldn't contribute much -- I don't really contribute to the other media boards as is. |

I have a pretty decent VSF book collection, both original (the old "scientific fantasy") and modern interpretations, so I'd be in to discuss what's good and what's not (both the old stuff and the new stuff can be hit and miss). I have no idea what VSF music would be, but I'd be down for an education in that too. |

I have no idea what VSF music would be… One does, even with Terry's suggestions, risk running afoul of folk who'll yell 'Down with PUNK!' You'll excuse me if I offer a couple with proper trepidation. Abbey Park is a group that's been made into figures of 'air pirates' by RAFM. For a good bit of fun, as well, try You Tube with a search for 'pikedevant.' Doug |
