Thanks in advance for the help! I'm looking to procure buildings for my 15mm SYW armies. I'm on the fence if I should use 10mm or 15mm buildings. If anyone has a picture of 10mm buildings with 15mm figures I would love to see it. I'm looking for the best look to scale more than anything else. If you suggest 10mm or 15mm which manufacture has the most complete line. Thanks, Ken |

If you are vacillating between 10 and 15mm scale, your decision should be based on the historical scale of your rule set. If my battalions were 24 or 30 figures strong, then 15mm scale would work well. At my blog are units representing battalions (one base) and in the foreground are 10 or 12 mm scratch built structures. Most of your SYW battles would be in rural settings. 18thcenturysojourn.blogspot.nl Cheers, |

It 1 st depends on your ground scale: If a proper village allows for say, 3+ 15mm buildings, it would look ok. If not go. With big 10s. Or go with big 10 s anyway. The ones I know Old glory/ blue moon. 10 mm Time cast too are biggish Pendraken. |

I think Timurilank has it when he suggests the size of your battalions should govern terrain. My 15s are at 1:20 scale with battalions of 24, 32 or 36 figures. Buildings of 15mm work well work, including those from 4ground and Crescent Root. |

TBM buildings are quite big. You might want to try their 10mm. Look on maps the size of villages, or and in your rules. Then up to your taste. |

Go with 10mm. 6mm is a bit too small, but 15mm does not allow you to really have more than one "village" on the table at a time. I also went with TBM. |
