I saw this title in a recent discussion on another board, and thought I'd ask here if anybody knows of a pdf source for this late-70s miniatures combat rulebook. I once owned a copy, but moving around to various countries, my collection has suffered.

Although there is apparently a copy or two available for sale on Amazon…

Remember it as an ad in a magazine around '78. Liked the look of it, but have never seen it in the flesh. Good luck on you finding it.

The costing of a figure as WYSIWYG was also used successfully, I think, in Reaper Rules by R Haliwell at around the same time. It was the pre-cursor to Warhammer and had a good make-it-up-yourself set of magic rules. You might want to check these rules out as well.

Not a PDF, but there's a reasonably priced copy on EBay right now: auction

Jpattern2 is right good price free shipping. I pull mine out every once in a while. Very nice effort for it's day.

A very well presented set of rules.

Back in the day my brother and I slogged through a few games.

Generating troops was fun, but the pointy end of the game, melee sorta reduced to an accounting game and working out who had a slightly better relative % so all the colour / character in troop types and generation was lost at this point.

Then again most rules worked a bit like that back then.

Yep.
We played a few games with existing WRG armies. Added a few things magickal and had a good game.
If you could play WRG, Emerald Tablet was a breeze.
