…Method Revealed .

"We're developing new methods of manufacturing all the time at Prodos Games and today, we have incredibly exciting news! We've been developing this process for just over two years and we are finally ready to announce SpinPro-cast!

The same great Pro-cast resin quality and material, but a much faster process. We will continue to cast in our traditional methods, but we are also proud to include this new method of manufacturing in our arsenal!

If you want assistance with bringin…g your own range of figures to life through one of our methods, please feel free to contact us!…"

Interesting that people are posting on their Facebook asking for unfulfilled Kickstarter items.

Hopefully their quality control is going to do better than GW with self-destructing castings and the like.

Interesting. I wonder how this this similar to and/or different from Trollcast (another spincast resin)--see 2012 announcement here:

Resin spin-casting is nothing new, we did that at GW back in the 90's for a short while, then again around 2007, then Finecast came along later.

Even Nicem sell a spin-caster with heaters built in for resin casting.

Judging from the pic they posted of the sprue, nothing really "new" is being invented. It might be new to them though.

Maybe they are using a new resin or a different method or material for making their molds.
