I had never heard of this before: imgur.com/wjvNtYf It seems like it would be a neat thing to make a model of for a Skaven army. With the new AoS rules there is no reason why you couldn't just put a bunch of clan rats on a big round base and come up with some stats for the unit. link However often it happens in the real world it would look like a pretty cool model if you had some of the multipose plastic to model crawling over each other to get to the enemy. |

A Rat King is said to remain mainly stationary, and is perhaps more usually only 3-5 intertwined rats. It's more of a 'command rat', and other rats bring it food. The intertwined rats develop a kind of hive mind. Rat Kings are creepy cool, semi-mythical things. -Kosta |

Although I've heard "rat king" used in many ways over the years, I never knew the real thing existed either. Very interesting! 🐀 |

Book rec: Sir Terry Pratchett's The Amazing Maurice and His Educated Rodents. By the end, you'll be terrified of the Rat King… and laughing at the same time. |

Here is a fantastic model to use with 28mm figures .it is quite large and menacing like a GW rat ogre. link I did have one spare from the kickstarter but passed it on to a skaven player as he loved it. |
