This year at Fall in! the Wednesday Night Painting Group (WNPG) will be celebrating our 10th anniversary running the Toys for Tots Charity Event. What started as a local Mega Battle where the entrance fee was a New Toy donation has grown to an event that receives support from around the world. In the past 10 years we have raised tens of thousands of dollars and countless truckloads of toys for Toys for Tots. So, to the hundreds of painters and vendors that have donated their time and product, to the thousands of gamers who have bid in the auctions and bought raffle tickets, let me just say for the entire WNPG crew, Thank you! We truly couldn't have done it without you.
So with all of that in mind, I am here to ask for your continued support. (Come on, you knew it was coming.)
We are in need of painted and unpaintind miniatures and terrain for the auction. We need painters to paint items for the auction and we also need new/used gaming items, like rules, dice, board games etc, for the Raffles. The auction ranges from single figures, to full armies. It compromises all scales, periods and genres. There is no donation that is too big or too small. So believe me when I say that, your donations can be used and will make money for Toys for Tots.
If you would like to help paint, we have a list of items in need of some TLC. If you would like to donate painted miniatures, provide product from your store, or items from the back of your closet that you will never use, please let us know. You can contact us at WNPG@hotmail.com or PM me here.
If you have any questions please let me know.

Sean, can you use any more of those loose jewelry findings I delivered at Cold Wars? I found another small bag of them after the convention.

Yours,
Mark

Good traffic spot--can't miss it on the way in coming down the main stairs. Yet out of the way, doesn't hinder traffic flow.

Mark, Dan,

Thanks for your support every year. We just need to get the word out and we need more painters. Help spread the word.

I will. Yes. I have some cowboys on my desk – and a Captain America I've been neglecting. ;)

That was a nice Repaint of Cap'n. Now we just need to get more painters to lend a brush.

My painting skills rival the most spastic of 2-year-olds. I can only offer to enable those with actual talent.

Poniatowski04 Aug 2015 5:23 a.m. PST

LOL! I only hope I can afford the Captain America this time around… ! It got bid up above my "pocket money"…. maybe not this time!

Don't forget to bring a toy or a perhaps a painted donation for the raffle!

These folks do great work and for a great cause!

Grignotage is one of our fantastic volunteers who are helping us with this years Auction. He is doing some really nice work.

But, we do need more help. If you would like to help us, please let me know. We can't do it without the great people like Grignotage and people like you!!

Remember folks…. you can clean up your old gaming supplies, donate them and help for a great cause!

You do not necessarily have to paint something new and fresh for the art auction… any gaming materials, rule books, books, gaming items of interest that you might have picked up at one point hoping to get into, but have fallen short and the years have passed…. dust it off, bring it out, donate it and get it to a good home!

I know we all have a mountain…. and remember, it is for the kids!

This is the this years "Gift" for those who buy $20 USD worth of Raffle Tickets.

This is from Walt over at Impudent Mortal. He has been a huge supporter of the event the last two years, and this year he has donated 4 Paint holders for the Raffle and Auction.
