Hello, I'm new to the forum, and not sure if this was the right place to post (the marketplace only had items already for sale), but I'm searching for the following book – Echo of the Bugle: Extinct Military and Constabulary Forces in Palestine and Trans-Jordan 1915-1967 by Marcel Roubicek (Franciscan Printing Press, 1975). If anyone can be of assistance it would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance. |

That must be a pretty rare book. Neither Amazon nor abebooks.com have it in their database. |

Nothing via AddAll, Alibris or Bookfinder either. |

Have you tried contacting the publisher for a remnant? link I'd be interested too as both grandfathers served in Palestine until independence/partition……..one in the infantry the other in the Palestine Police…….. |

I actually tried the publisher before I posted on the forums. They did have copies of his other books (Early Modern Arab Armies, Modern Ottoman Troops, and The Ottoman Navy) but not Echo of the Bugle. I'm hoping a copy eventually turns up on ABE or Amazon. |

it's really the title of the book with the word " Extinct". in it? I checked at the University of Michigan library which is pretty huge and it found no such book there. If this is actually the title, go to your nearest university library if you are affiliated, and ask them to check inter library loan. Or get a friend who is affiliated to do this. |

I think interlibrary loan will be my next option! |
