Steven Runciman History of the Crusades is what you want its available in paperback for a reasonable price. Volume 3 is the one you want but really its worth getting all three. |

Why aren't these books available for the Kindle?! Dang it! |

Because they're still under copyright. Runciman only died in 2000. |

Because they're still under copyright. Runciman only died in 2000. Kindle does not mean "Public Domain". It is another format for 'books', including copyright material (which you pay for). Druzhina Illustrations of Costume & Soldiers |

Probebly to "small" it does take time and money to transfer it to kindle. if they don't expect it to sell, then they won't do it(same reason some old movies that never became big still aren't on dvd) |

Runciman is still the baseline for all seminal crusades history books. You really want the whole "trilogy". My favorite historical novel version is Graham Shelby's pair of books, "The Knights of Dark Renown". And, "The Kings of Vain Intent"…. |
