Hi,

What is the difference between the most recent set and the previous set? Are the models entirely new?

The new tactical squad has new sculpts including new heads, torsos and legs. At a cursory glance they appear similar to the old set but are actually quite different upon closer inspection.

The new set has Mark IV legs and the new missile launcher backpack. It also has the new grav weapons.

I bet the price is higher.

I think it went from $35 USD to $40. USD

At the risk of being called a fanboi I think in this instance it was worth it. The new box's legs seem to have been tweaked slightly proportion-wise giving the marines a more 'natural' look, you also get 10 distinct sets of legs (though there are some duplicates with different iconography) whereas the old set only had 3. The arms were also improved – the leftmost boltgunners (top and bottom rows) on the old cover are both pointing their guns at the sky, this was unavoidable with the old box as it only had 10 sets of arms in 3 poses. The new box ups this to 12 sets of arms in *4* poses, with the new fourth pose being an actual *AIMING* pose – see the fella at the back on the right of the new cover.

It also includes a combi-weapon (with interchangeable non-bolt component), powerfist and power sword in addition to the aforementioned grav gun & pistol.
