There are two references in the rule book to a rider trapped under his horse using activations to try and free himself, but nowhere can I find an explanation of how it's done. Presumably it's a die roll of some sort. Has anyone else experienced this problem and obtained an answer from the author?

Lack of author-support for these rules, along with a couple of queries I had, is one of the reasons that I have abandoned them. My preferred ruleset for Wild West fun is Dead Man's Hand but I may return to LotG for the occasional solo game because I liked a couple of aspects to the rules.
