I have to say, I've seen several examples of figures with clear plastic bases and I really love them. They let the actual terrain show through instead of the, possibly incongruous, figures base terrain. I found a place that makes them pretty cheap (though not as figure bases). I ordered 100. I'll post again on the quality. When I get mine. link |

Can you tone down or eliminate the reflections from the surface of the disc? |

The reflections are going to depend upon the index of refraction. That will be a property of the material. You could spray a clear matte coat on the top which should alter that by quite a bit. So my guess is yes. I got the 1" ones as those are closest to 25mm. I can't wait to see how thy look as well! |

I got the disks. They are amazing. They are very smooth, perhaps a bit thick for some, with mild distortion. I'm really happy with them. The Litko bases look good too. The price is better and they are thinner. If you have Amazon prime you can get them for a reasonable price. |

What techniques do you use for removing the metal bases that are part of the miniatures? |
