So, I was about to buy Pig Tickler from Eureka for £15.78 GBP. Quality. Unfortunately, I then found out that shipping from Oz is £13.77 GBP. Meh. Anyone know of a better option for getting this game in the UK?! |

Alas, no: Pax Limpopo Games From 1 January 2015, a change in EU laws on VAT on digital products potentially affects the PDFs of the rules emailed out for Eureka's Pax Limpopo games. We have, with regret, therefore decided temporarily to remove the games from the website. This in particular affects Pig Tickler, for which only a PDF version of the rules exists. |

No good unfortunately – they pulled it when the faff over VAT on digital products came in. |

That's the price us Aussies have to at whenever we buy miniatures from the UK or US. It hurts. |

I have ordered a couple of times to the UK and they only charge the actual postage if I remember rightly. Still hurts but not their fault. Great service as well. |

That is ridiculous. Why can't we just move Australia so it is closer. Then shipping would have to go down. |

Are.you mad!? Mad….I'm furious! 😜😉 Spare a thought for your brother war gamers in the antipodes… Blimey! Postage cost is the norm for us…excepting great companies like Caliver, who offer postage free. But breathe easy, it's a hobby…none of us are getting out of here rich. 😁 |

Problem of small orders from far away: odered dozens of parcels from Eureka, neve had a pb, as always $3 USD-500 so postage made sense. My bet, if you had $60 USD your cost might be the same. |

I'm next door to Australia, and it's actually cheaper postage for me to get items from England than from there. Only the Canadian PO charge more.:( |

Chris, after reading this I investigated a new feature of my shop's software – a very recent change to how the delivery system is handled – and I have been able to set Pig Tickler to be available only to customers who want it shipped to the UK. Anyone can still add it to their shopping cart, but cannot complete their order unless the delivery address for that order is in the UK. I can supply the rule set to the UK without having to register for VATMOSS (it it not worth the hassle of registering for VATMOSS to be able to supply the rest of the EU with just two or three products). Pig Tickler works out at £25.74 GBP including VAT and delivery, and I will need to order in new stock. This is still a few quid cheaper than the ex-tax, delivery inclusive price from Eureka. Eureka's delivery charges are entirely governed by the rates set by Australia Post, which has not unreasonably decided to set postage rates that will make it a profit. The Royal Mail has only comparatively recently decided to do the same, none the less I can send a package to Australia cheaper than I can have one sent from Australia to the UK. Ian Fighting 15s |
