Musket Miniatures is being sold – the new owner has picked up the molds for the AWR line, all the 15mm Civil War, American Revolution, and Mexican American War. |

Would you know who the new owner is? Wonderful line of building! |
Stosstruppen | 25 Jul 2015 7:17 a.m. PST |
Yeah it happened some time ago. Unfortunately no one knows who the new owner is, or when (if), the stuff is coming back out. |

A lot of good old ranges have disappeared when a "new owner" buys molds and rights. They are never seen again. Sad. |

The resin building line was not part of the sale and will still be produced by Jim's son. |

Yeah, hope this isn't another "Frontier" situation… |

Thanks for the link to Mark IV Miniatures. Hopefully we can do some business. |

The line was purchased by a model railroad company to produce the HO figures. Don't know the status of the old 15mm lines. Dave wargamingminiatures.com |

Supposedly they (15mm lines) were purchased by someone. Hopefully they come back out in the near future. Mark IV doesn't have the MAW line listed on their website….. |

All the military figure lines were purchased by one individual who intends to offer them. He is starting a new business and purchased all of our equipment also. It will take a while to get everything sorted out. He does not want his information make public until everything is up and running. He is thinking about branching out into the model railroad area also. Jim McCarron |

Jim, I hope he does get the 15mm figs back in production. Three friends and I played an ACW game this afternoon using your figures and Neil Thomas rules – we had a great time, the figures looked great on the table top. |

i also hope the 15mm acw stuff comes back. the are good figures and mix well with stone mountain. |

Thanks, Jim, for all the years of dedication to the Hobby! You will be sorely missed, but you had wanted to do this for several years now. Good luck in your retirement. Hope you can still continue sculpting every once in a while. Hope to get to share a coffee with you when I can get back home. v/r Tom |

Jim, I bought my first 22mm figures from you back in the early 80's. With the separate heads! Still some of my favorites . Many fond memories. |

Onomarchos I don't see any of the civil war buildings at that new website? |

Everyone in 15mm ACW needs to do whatever can be done to encourage the new owner to KEEP 15mm ACW living. Whatever help the new owner needs I am stepping up from website design to publishing et al. |

Never cared for the figures. They looked liked they had some sort of spinal issues, hunched over and all. Some were so thin they appeared two dimensional. But what they did well was everything else. Buildings and other terrain. Limbers and guns. Thanks for the link to the buildings. |

Sad. Looks pretty clear that the new owner either didn't know what he (I assume) was signing up for, or is just a head case (I say this because I presume he paid, while not a fortune, a goodly sum). At this point, looks like another useful figure line sinks beneath the waves. The fellow's secrecy was troubling from the beginning, makes me wonder if he ever had any real intention of keeping the line going. |

I know this thread is several months old, but for those who are interested, the Musket Miniature Line seems to be coming back. link |

Rawdon – I have to wonder what you based your comment on. Just so you know, when I first bought Musket, I had no intention in offering the ranges but changed my mind – I realize that is very suspicious. Apparently I come across as very shady… |

The 15mm ACW Buildings can be obtained from Jeff McCarron at Mark IV Miniatures. I received my order just a couple weeks ago. here is the link to ACW Buildings: link |

Hi new owner of MusketMiniatures…. If I may, please reconsider your decision on the 15mm limbers (if you've made the decision NOT to offer them again)… These hold a high place in the "desirability" column of ACW gamers…. I note you have the HO scale available… I would reckon the 15mm version would quickly become a best seller for you… Thanks for your considerations. Madcam. |

I'm about halfway done with listing the 15mm ACW including the artillery, limbers. Not sure if I need to post this on more than one topic. Just got the first molds for the new O scale ACW range and will be adding more O and HO ACW soon, mostly non combat figures for dioramas and model railroads. I'm also building an HO Henry House for a special request and will mold it and offer it in resin as a regular product. Hopefully that will be the beginning of a new range of buildings. Maybe it's time to start posting on Facebook – oi |

Folks will parse everything you write/don't write. Be prepared. I've had my MM ACW for many years, they still look good. |
