I'm currently planning out a British Peninsula force for the LaSalle ruleset and I'm trying to figure out the best way to have skirmisher bases on the table. I know I could go the route of movement trays but is there any option out there that would allow me to attach the small skirmisher bases to my larger unit bases so that I can easily move them so that I don't need separate movement trays for attack column, line and square. How do other players get around this? I apologise if this is not the correct forum, at least for me its a Napoleonic issue! |

I bet Litko could make a custom movement tray. |

I just used 1,2 or 3 single based figures which I put in front of the unit. |

I'm avoiding movement trays of I can because I need to be able to change the formation of units. If I was using 28mm models then single based models would be great but I'm using 10mm and trying to avoid the fiddly aspect of moving the tiny 20mmx20mm bases I have my skirmishers on |

Don't sweat the small stuff. We all want flexibility , best and fastest way would be to leave them on individual bases, and detach when required. As a general, you'll have more to think aboutvthan a few skirmishers out in front, eh? Don |

Put in a second or third rank. Use these for casualty subtractions or skirmishers. |
