Soccer City is back for another go on Kickstarter. This time, there are minis! Not sure of the scale, but the figures seem to match the artwork. The game is card-driven but played out on a nice field. The design reflects early 20th century soccer. Check it out: link link |

Oh no, there's miniatures this time?!? Resistance may prove futile this time around…. |

There are places out there to get miniatures for Soccer. Eureka has some 25mm figures. Quantum Casting also makes 28mm modern soccer figures. There is also a guy in England who is starting to make his own line of figures. |

… and the Soccer City minis are a bit on the pricey side; I like them since they match the art of the game. Who's the fella in England? |

He has just commissioned a few sculpts at this time, but I will let you know when he is bringing them out. The is a chance that Quantum Casting might get to Europe, but this is very, very preliminary. |

This campaign has made its goal! Something I didn't realize about the minis for this game (which I originally thought were a bit overpriced) -- they're listed as 4cm (40mm)! Nice large figures should make for a great-looking game. Check it out (campaign is coming to an end soon): link |
