Im looking for a 4x3 neoprene scenery mat for 1/600 aerial gaming. can anyone recommend a good make in the UK. Deep Cut make a nice one but the postage is a put off. any alternatives ? |

I'd recommend tinywargames for quality, don't know about the other one. |

Thanks lurker. The WoG ones are great but for 2 its nearly £60.00 GBP so a bit steep. |

I suspect a bespoke mat will be a similar cost. The artistic impression use foamex rather than neoprene, much the same thing, but doesn't have to come via China. Picking a PVC option might make it cheaper, but they have a bit of sheen that I find a bit off putting these mats are a expensive luxury! I like 'em tho Simon |

Thanks guys. I think ive become a bit spoilt with other games. I have several Mantic neoprene mats that cost about £15.00 GBP including postage but they are only 2x2 28mm scale roads. I really liked the texture and weight that they have and they dont crease. I may just suck it up and buy a DeepCut Bay 4x3 but im really not sure that the scale of the buildings in it will look right with ww1 1/600 planes on it. Would love a coastline with no buildings. Maybe Dover Cliffs would be a good mat picture |
