I've added to my blog an AAR on the third annual Historicon Musical Wargame, "Fa, A Long Long Way to Go, the Sound of Music the Wargame" along with pictures from other games at the con:

See, Historical wargames aren't ALL boring, nor do they lead to declining attendance, fluoridation of our single malt, the heartbreak of psoriasis, OR tooth decay!

Brilliant work--and I must say you look smashing as a Flying Nun. It certainly looks like a lot of fun was had by all. I may have missed it, but what rules do you use? Thanks very much for posting!

Thanks! I used a modified version of Astounding Tales! pulp rules for both The Sound of Music and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

As long as Carrie was happy. I'm a fan.

The main thing I remember about the nuns I had in school was the reek of their after shave lotion. How did you simulate that?

Looks like a blast!

As someone who also had nuns for teachers for many years, let me commend you on your efforts. The award from HMGS was well deserved.

I'll never be able to watch "The Sound of Music," "Sister Act" or "The Producers" again without thinking of this game.

Great job. Can't wait to see what you have in mind for your next production.

Mother Superior here! You've both been very naughty boys and shall have to be punished for your blasphemy…

Oh, who am I kidding? Your game was the highlight of the con for me! Thanks for all the work you put into setting up the game and making sure we all had a good time.

Now go in peace to love and serve the gamers.
