What types of indirect fire units get painted up and put on the table? I remember reading this somewhere but I can't seem to find it.

I know like 50mm mortars would be on the table, but where do they draw the line in IABSM? would 80mm mortars or 120mm mortars be on the table?

Very rarely – IABSM's ground scale (12" : 80 yards) means even the battalion mortar platoon should generally be well off table.

The Battle for Liberation and Vpered Na Berlin supplements both give minimum ranges for the different types of mortars. As Dom says, anything larger than a light mortar should be a rarity on table.
