I need a dismounted cavalry officer or general, must be wearing boots and a cuirass (but not a helmet – hat can be cocked/tricorne or uncocked).

Not fussed if it's metal, plastic or resin; can be a kit, or one-piece casting. Size – anything from 40mm to 54mm.

Any ideas? (I've looked at the Drabant range and they don't have anything suitable.)

Have a look at Peipp-Miniaturen from Dresden:

peipp-miniaturen.de

There is a range of 54mm and 45mm with (mostly) Prussian Generals, mounted and dismounted. Great quality.
I found him, for example:

Hope it helps?

Thanks, Peter. In fact, I saw something very close to what I want in their 54mm early 18thC Saxon ranges – dismounted personality in boots and cuirass, and hat very loosely cocked and looking more 1700 than 1750s.

Cheers, OB – nothing really matched up, but it was worth the look for some other stuff that gave me an idea or two.

If only they'd make that 42mm coach in 25/28mm……

I thought some of it might be up your street.
