Hello!, i have images of a coming kickstarter prototypes and renders to make a Dark ages outpost for 28mm scaled minaitures. The idea is to make a plastic set of tower, gate and palisade. The tower consist of 7 parts ( 4 walls, 2 flors and 1 torch), while the gate consist of 10 parts, but once you glue most of them, you will have 4 parts to make a functional gate (the 2 doors, the wood lock and the frame) First of all the renders with some miniatures that will be made in metal for the campaign ( plastic as well, but for another ocassion):
And then we have printed "low" quality prototypes:
A better look at the gate and tower:
If all goes as planed, we aim to launch the campaign in first days of september. There will be plastic low-stone-wall streatch goal and metal miniatures (the ones from the renders and 2 more are coming) as addons. I will update any new adition to the future KS! Salutes |

I like it. Reminds me of the old Fort Apache playset I had. It'll be great for borderland skirmishes. |

My first thought too! It all looks fine. Not my scale though. |

you know, there were times at night where words like "15mm is smaller, cheaper" "the moulds for 15mm would be cheaper" and more like that attacked my mind. For sure the moulds for plastic production would be cheaper (or the same BASE price, but more pieces can be fit into the mould becuase the small size of pieces) . My questions is if 15mm players would be interested in buy plastic kits.. because, in that scale what could i do more than wood-mud-brick-stone walls, i see many people scratch building houses, becuase they are so small that with some hours you can make some nice scenery. Is there any 15mm plastic kits for buildings arround? There are so many ranges i would have to select which to start with.. napoleonics, medieval, ww2 ? Maybe something ultra "general purpose" as barricades , trenches, palisades, stone walls would be a start.. |

A comprehensive set of well sculpted fences and stone walls that could be used for fantasy and or multiple time periods and settings seems to be lacking in my mind. There are some one off stuff from some manufacturers or incomplete lines but no one I am aware of has a large line. I'd like to see iron fences, stone, and wood all in 15mm. |

Looks very nice. The "low quality" prototype would likely be 'good enough' for 3D printing of terrain pieces -- it's much less expensive than 'high quality printing' of models. Unless, of course, you plan to make molds of your 3D printouts, and cast from them. Make certain that your pieces will build a complete fortress, not just parts of one. As mentioned, stone walls, fences, and iron fences, are all good suggestions. They are multi-genre pieces, which gives you a wider audience for your products. If you can scale them up/down, into 1/72 scale, 32mm, 15mm scale, etc., again, you broaden your audience. The 1/72 scale is of particular interest, as there are many historical gamers who might like your products. Cheers! |

THanks for the coments! i will look into 15mm and 1/72 scenery (is i want to do 1/72 fantasy miniatures, which are lacking in the market, both in metal and plastic). |
