It's expensive for a pdf. I paid less for my hardcopy from Amazon than the price of the pdf !

Wouldn't disagree about the price, but…

It's NOT a pdf. It is an EPUB. I have the latest Adobe Acrobat Reader and it wouldn't touch the thing. I had to download Adobe Digital Edition 3.0 to read it on my desktop.

It has no page numbers. Each item in the Table of Contents is linked to where in the document that item can be found. There is a lot of work involved in doing this which is part of the reason for the cost.
