Me and my droogs also dig the Korova Milk Bar. GW and especially Dr. Pepper (the drink of gods) signs also score points. |

Terrain looks interesting, especially the theater. How were the seats done? Lonkka, everyone knows Mountain Dews is The Drink of the Gods. Oh, I see, no upper case letters. Okay, that's fine then. Rob |

The seats were cut from cardboard. The bottoms are circles. The backs are half of an oval. Bill's wife is an expert scrap bookers with one of those Krikit machines, so he was able to cut out a bunch quickly. The seats are then supported on popsicle sticks, the front one being normal width an the back one being cut a little more narrow, so that when they are arranged up the slope of the theater floor the seats are level. |

Thanks for the kudos for the seats. The popsicle sticks were actually two separate widths, the only cutting I had to do to them was trim the wider sticks so the were the same length as the narrow sticks. The narrow sticks were three seats widths long so I made them in sections. The seats were cardboard disks covered with a denim-patterned scrapbook paper and seat backs were ovals cut from the same paper, folded in half, and glued to the disks. The carpeting also was scrapbook paper that had a fuzzy velvet texture. The walls were some scrapbook "paper" I found on clearance at a Michael's. It was a woven plastic material. If I had enough time I would have finished the snack bar – it was located under the seats, and scratch-built a projector. I also wanted to build a marquee sign. |

Well done, indeed, but I do miss the 'Mall Madness' upper level. Of course, those are NEVER that huge! And, forget about interiors for the shops. Doug |

Will the HAWKS be bringing The Mall to Fall-In, he asked? |
Chris Palmer | 18 Aug 2015 5:56 a.m. PST |
No, I don't think anyone will be running it at Fall-In, but there has been some talk of doing it at Barrage |
