I never remember to take pictures during a game. So, I snapped a few while I was sorting them out and putting them away. The couple on the porch quaffing his ale is of course the OFM, and his battleaxe. First, the Philadelphia Light Horse. Figures are the OOP Firing Line and the flag is Flags for the Lads.
Next are some Over Mountain Gentlemen. Figures are Old Glory Wayne's Legion Kentucky Mounted Militia.
His Majesty's Generic Pimp Hat Light Infantry. Old Glory Light Infantry with plumed hats and Front Rank.
Lee's Lavender Leisure Suit Lads. Perry.
Captain Fairbairn's Company of militia. Spirit of 76 lads are of course by Fife and Drum. Perhaps my favorite AWI figures EVAH! Other figures by Hinchliffe, Eureka, Dixon, Old Glory, RAFM, Foundry, redoubt… I did say I liked to mix manufacturers, hainna?
Ferguson's Rifles. Or His Majesty's Generic Loyal American Loyal Loyalists. Perry and Foundry.
Joseph Brant calls a Lodge Meeting. Front Rank, Blue Moon, Dixon, Old Glory, Front Rank, Conquest, etc.
Magua's Own Chasseurs a Cheval. Conquest

John, Those look nice. You use sword and the flame for the rules? A variant if I recall correctly. I never remember to take pictures either. Matthew |

John, How come there aren't more ragged looking Continentals in there? Just kidding. Really nice looking stuff there. Impressive. |

Those look just great, John. Thank you for sharing. I occasionally feel tuggings in the direction of the AWI, but I really, really don't need another period, and so have resisted up to this point. Please forgive the stupid question, but did any of His Majesty's troops actually wear lavender or is that your own artistic license? |

Don Troiani shows Lee's Legion (a Patriot unit, not a British) wearing that color for the dismounted troops. |

Those look nice. You use sword and the flame for the rules? A variant if I recall correctly. No. Not a variant. I try to use the 20th Anniversary edition as close to the book as I can. We played the Indian Springs scenario from the British Grenadier books. The only rifles were those who had rifles. All others had carbines, After putting the figures on the table, we decided that the only troops that deserved the "British Rifles" rating were the Jaegers. In the Real Battle, the Stockbridge Indians performed well enough to rate "Egyptian Carbine". One American legion force had rifles, so they were Egyptian Rifles. As for "Ragged" Continentals, with the exception of legion troops, there were no Continentals. Next game. |

BTW, there were a LOT of proxies. "In tonight's presentation, the part of Armand's Legion light dragoons will be played by the Philadelphia Light Horse. The part of Armand's Legion infantry will be played by Lee's Legion. Thank you, and tip your waitresses." |

I like your Philadelphia Light Horse. I see you painted up almost half of the actual members of the unit. Hard to stop at just one or two with a cool uniform like that. |

The other half will be dismounted. I am researching their actual names. |
