I placed an order for a small Zuzzy mat (2' x 3') and some terrain pieces at the beginning of June. The ONLY reason I placed the order is that the header (red text) of their store site states that, while the production and shipping of some of their items are backlogged for several months, other orders will ship "in a few days".
The phrase "in a few days" gives the impression that whatever difficulties they've had fulfilling orders in the past have been rectified (at least for the items not described as being delayed by several months) and product is being shipped to buyers in a timely manner. Unfortunately, this is not the case.
After a reasonable amount of time had passed, no shipping notification or package on my doorstep had appeared. I sent an inquiry about my order to them via the contact form on their website.
No response.
Two weeks later, I sent another inquiry via their contact form.
And a third. No response.
So, going on 7 weeks later, I've received no response in any way, shape or form from Zuzzy. As they have plainly refused to communicate with me in any manner, I've had to file a PayPal dispute in an attempt to recoup the money paid for my order.
Seven weeks is most definitely not "a few days". It's frustrating, as I do like their products quite a bit (their terrain and scatter pieces in particular) and was planning including them for use in upcoming rulebook projects. Regardless of how much I'd like to have the products I ordered, I won't be attempting to buy products from them again. Ever.
A couple of tips for Zuzzy Miniatures:
1. If you cannot or are unwilling to deliver order placed by customers in the time frame you explicitly state on your store site, you should change your site's text to reflect something approximating reality.
2. If you do not respond to communications from your customers, you're doing nothing but ing them off and asking them to do business elsewhere. Try actually responding to inquiries if you want repeat business from your customers (no, this is not the first order I've placed with them).
