The game quality appears to be very good this year and I've seen a lot of creative game ideas. The game masters really brought their "A Game" this year. |

Lots of good pics over the last couple of days and lots of smiles and fun and no one screaming to "Move it to the Northeast!" Well done folks…. |

It was a fun day and my son's first game convention. He played a Lego Pirate game in the HAWK's room and we both played a tank battle game in the main area. The latter was a pretty fun and well done game. Good times had by all. Just for you Murphy. MOVE IT TO THE NORTH EAST! |

I understand my buddy Nazrat won an award for his Battlegroup game and it was well attended and people begging to play in it. So I know he had a good time. Here is hoping now that I am done with graduate school that I will be able to attend next year. Of course much will depend on where I land a job. If I am still on the East Coast I will plan to be there. |

Was it last year or the year before I was complaining about the lack of visual appeal of games reported on at Historicon? (I'm too far away to attend) Not based on this report. Like the game or not, almost all are visual feasts – as they should be at the pinnacle event in the U.S. So, good job to all those who ran their games in making them class presentations. If I were confident of seeing large numbers of such games, I might be tempted to make the trip one day. |
