Majestic sir, simply majestic! I can only echo tig, they are worth the wait!!!

We can forgive the delay with the Vivandiere! ;-)

Thanks guys
TIG, GoodOldRebel thanks guys you kept me going! It wasn't easy at times but I got there in the end.I do think it was time well spent they do seem to have turned out pretty good. The viv or should I say Viv's will be making an appearance pretty soon. I just need to find a second suitable figure!

DOUGKL, thank you for the kind words, they certainly add a bit of colour to the grey and blue hordes.

So what's up next! I'm not really sure probably something simple and straight forward

Thanks for looking guys, so cheers for now Russ

Superb work! Full of character and movement, a splendid addition to any collection! The Vivandiere's should add a nice full stop to this phase?

What next? a line unit? a couple of command stands? a little vignette?

Lol, why not bask in the glory of your success?

Thanks GoodOldRebel, I may just take a break and recharge my batteries a tad, I still have the 54th to paint! and numerous other projects. A couple of days rest may just be what I need.

so thanks again guys for all the encouragement and support, its very much appreciated.

cheers for now Russ

well deserved break i'd say! I've ordered the 1st and 2nd Kansas Coloured, went with Perry's in the end with the head conversion packs!

1st and 2nd kansas coloured, sounds good. I still need to get the 54th done, I may have to convert a figure for R G Shaw but I'm sure I can find a figure suitable to use. If not the green stuff will be brought out once again and I can finish my Vivs at the same time.

Vivs as in plural, can't wait to see them.

More little lead gems in the making!!!!!

I like fighting actions in the Trans-Mississippi west so many opportunities for weird and wonderful units. From the first Coloured troops to see active service through Guerilla's to the Indians that served on both sides!

Thanks TIG it only seemed fair to do one for each side, no bias towards the southern states at all! Ok, ok I'm a rebel at heart.

GoodOldRebel rebel, I never really thought about the less regular actions and the guerilla side of it untill I saw Ride with the Devil. The slightly more interesting and not so commen units have had a look in, and the more colourful uniforms certainly add that bit of flare to any collection but I suppose there is still room for some Bush wackers types to make an appearance.
