Hi guys, Look at the size of this thing…. :-) link I'm definitely getting a couple… |

Yes, I just saw the update, and while I have a VSF project, I'm struggling to think of how I'd use it. Maybe as a sort of uberweapon for the heroes to disable. I was more interested by the expansion to the expansion, which may let me drop one of the add on dragons so I can get something else…like a BFG I guess. |

It does look cool, however, I'm wondering how that long barrel would end up as Bones tend to always be bent. I've read about and have experience with the hot water/ice bath straightening method (I'm a Bones II supporter), but that isn't always successful. Would be a shame to have a great piece like that that had a wavy barrel. |

At the size of that thing I don't see bending would be an issue. Its only on thin and spindly things that suffer. |

I believe it was stated in the Kickstarter comments that the barrel ( and other components) is being made out of hard plastic for just that reason. From the Reaper Update: "And at $1,310,000 USD something with a little more bang, produced in Bones (with hard and soft Bonesium components) under license from Victoria Miniatures, we're proud to be able to offer the M22bfg 'Sledgehammer' Heavy Howitzer, sculpted by Victoria Lamb and Jake Schneider! The Sledgehammer can be yours for only $30 USD added to your current pledge!" Edit- Here's from the comments: "Alessandra Kelley about 2 hours ago @Philip D'Hollander 4 minutes ago: "@Reaper: probably a silly question, but is the Victoria's Lamb cannon is "normal" bonesium? How will a barrel that long be sustained in normal bonesium? I was in on Bones 1 & 2 and big monsters like Kaladrax tend to "droop" a bit after a while… So is it more rigid? will the cannon have a solid core? How?" Reaper has said the cannon, like the weapon sprues, will be in a harder plastic, more like the one used for the shipping container and rubbish tip in the last Kickstarter than the softer Bonesium used for the figures." |

GW could take a pointer on pricing from these guys. |

I usually even replace Forgeworld (banana) barrels with plastic, so this should be an easy job. Definitely getting one. :-) |

Pfffft! I just want the crew. Y'all can keep the gun 'cause I am more than capable of making my own (but I can't sculpt a lick)… I can see the crew as the perfect bunch to operate a big honkin' steam punk tank or such… Leland R. Erickson Metal Express metal-express.net |

I would trade the gun for the crew anytime, as mine will be crewed by Goblins and Orks anyway (with the odd human being used as decoration…) – though that would be too bad of a deal for you, and postage over the pond makes this unattractive anyway. Perhaps you can team up with somebody closer, or sell of the gun :-) |
